کیا ہے کہ اب وہ خود کو مسلمان نہیں سمجھتے۔</p> <p>برطانوی روزنامے انڈیپینڈنٹ میں شائع <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20181117101943/https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/zayn-malik-muslim-islam-religion-british-vogue-interview-response-twitter-backlash-a8636441.html?fbclid=IwAR1Sxq0aFIi1XYpVFkPvKSbO3kxsrE-KinsUyW8mx9zecwaSNhde8be8V48">رپورٹ</a> میں برٹش ووگ کو گلوکار کی جانب سے دیئے گئے انٹرویو کے حوالے سے بتایا گیا کہ وہ اسلام کے کسی بھی قسم کے نظریات پر یقین نہیں رکھتے۔</p> <p>زین ملک نے کہا ' میں اب خود کو مسلمان نہیں کہتا، میرا ماننا ہے کہ لوگوں کے مذہبی عقائد جو بھی ہوں، یہ ان کے اور اس کے درمیان کا معاملہ ہے، جس کی عبادت وہ کرتے ہیں'۔</p> <p>جب ان سے پوچھا گیا کہ کیا وہ خود کو مسلمان سمجھتے ہیں تو زین ملک کا جواب تھا 'میں خود کو مسلمان نہیں سمجھتا'۔</p> <p>گلوکار نے کہا کہ وہ اب اسلامی عبادات و فرائض پر مزید عمل نہیں کرتے ' میں اس بات پر یقین نہیں کرتا کہ مخصوص گوشت کو کھانے کی ضرورت ہے، جسے ایک مخصوص طریقے سے دعا پڑھ کر ذبح کیا جائے ۔ میں ایک مخصوص زبان میں دن میں پانچ بار نماز پڑھنے پر بھی یقین نہیں رکھتا، میں ان میں سے کسی کو نہیں مانتا۔ میں بس یہ مانتا ہوں کہ اگر آپ اچھے فرد ہیں تو ہر چیز آپ کے لیے درست ہوگی'۔</p> <p>خیال رہے کہ زین ملک کے والد پاکستان سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں جنھوں نے برطانوی خاتون سے شادی کی، جنھوں نے اسلام قبول کیا۔</p> <p>اس جوڑے نے بچوں کی پرورش برطانیہ کے علاقے بریڈ فورڈ میں اسلامی طریقے سے کی۔</p> <p>گلوکار نے انٹرویو کے درمیان مزید کہا ' میں اپنے مذہب کو اپنے اور اس کے درمیان رکھنا چاہتا ہوں جس پر میں یقین رکھتا ہوں، مجھے لگتا ہے کہ اس سے مجھے زندگی میں اچھے طریقے سے بڑھنے میں مدد ملے گی'۔</p> <p>ان کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ والدین نے انہیں اور ان کے بہن بھائیوں کو مکمل مذہبی آزادی دی۔</p> <p>زین ملک کے اس انٹرویو پر ٹوئٹر پر مداحوں کا شدید ردعمل سامنے آیا۔</p> <p>اکثر ٹوئٹر صارفین نے لکھا کہ گلوکار کو اس پر شرمندہ ہونا چاہئے جبکہ کچھ نے انٹرویو کو سراہا مگر اسلامی عبادات کا مذاق اڑانے پر زین ملک پر شدید تنقید کی۔</p> <p>کچھ ٹوئٹر صارفین کا کہنا تھا کہ خدا زین ملک کو درست راستے پر چلنے کے لیے رہنائی فراہم کرے، ہم بھی مثالی مسلمان نہیں مگر اپنے مذہب کو چھوڑنا بہت بڑا نقصان ضرور ہے۔</p> <p>زین ملک نے ماضی میں ایک انٹرویو کے دوران مذہب کے بارے میں کہا تھا ' میں اس حوالے سے فخر اور ذمہ داری کا احساس محسوس کرتا ہوں، کیونکہ یہ جانتا ہوں کہ میں اپنی طرز کا منفرد شخص ہوں، جس کا پس منظر ایسا ہے'۔</p> <p>انہوں نے کہا ' میں عبادات تو نہیں کرتا مگر میری پرورش اسلامی عقیدے کے مطابق بھی
