We are committed to keeping our platform safe and professional for all users. In some areas, laws require us to restrict access to our services for users who are not yet adults ("Minors”). The LinkedIn experience and access to our services may not be available to Minors depending on where they live.<br> </p><p><strong>How old do I have to be to use LinkedIn?</strong></p><p>You must be at least 16 years old to use LinkedIn. In regions where the law requires you to be older than 16 to use our services without parental consent, the minimum age is the age at which such parental consent is not required.<br> </p><p><strong>How does LinkedIn determine my age?</strong></p><p>How we determine the age of members varies regionally, depending on applicable laws. For example, we may ask for your date of birth because laws require us to ask all users for that information when they sign up.<br> </p><p>If you believe we incorrectly identify you as a Minor and have limited your LinkedIn experience accordingly, you can contest this by submitting an <a rel="" href="/help/linkedin/ask/TS-U18" target="_self">Age Correction Form</a>. <br> </p><p><strong>When I try to sign up for LinkedIn, I get a notice saying I’m too young to join. Why can’t I create a LinkedIn account?</strong></p><p>We love seeing ambitious people like you, but we can’t allow anyone under 16 or those who are considered Minors in certain regions to create an account. What can I do?</strong></p><p>We cannot offer our services to Minors in some regions due to applicable laws.
