You can make new friends, become part of the local community and develop new skills which will look great on your CV.</p> <p>There are a wide range of opportunities for you to get involved with including supporting other students through to getting involved in charities and not for profit organisations in the wider community.</p> <p>Volunteering counts towards Stellify. To complete the ‘Make a Difference’ section of Stellify you need to complete and record 25 hours of volunteering which benefits the wider community (i.e. not other university students). Volunteering roles that benefit other students such as PASS, Peer Mentoring and society committees usually count towards the ‘Step up and lead’ section.
