sodelovanje mladih na področju podnebja in trajnosti v postopku odločanja EU</a>.</p> <p>Okrogle mize EU za mlade potekajo dvakrat letno, EESO pa jih gosti v sodelovanju z <a href="https://www.youthforum.org/" target="_blank" title="Evropski mladinski forum – povezava se odpre v novem oknu">Evropskim mladinskim forumom</a>, združenjem <a href="https://gceurope.org/" target="_blank" title="Generation Climate Europe – povezava se odpre v novem oknu">Generation Climate Europe</a> in <a href="https://ec.europa.eu/info/index_sl" target="_blank" title="Evropska komisija – povezava se odpre v novem oknu">Evropsko komisijo</a>. Vsaka okrogla miza EU za mlade obravnava posebno temo, povezano s podnebjem in trajnostjo. Vsakič se tudi skupina približno desetih predstavnikov mladih sestane s komisarjem, katerega resor je pristojen za razpravo.</p> <p>Glavna značilnost okroglih miz EU za mlade je mehanizem spremljanja, s katerim se želi zagotoviti, da Evropska komisija ustrezno upošteva zahteve mladih. Po vsakem dogodku predstavniki mladih pristojnemu komisarju predložijo dokument z nekaj političnimi zahtevami. Komisar se ob podpori ustreznih generalnih direktoratov zaveže, da bo v naslednjem mesecu dal jasen pisni odgovor na te zahteve.
