service standard is a public commitment to a measurable level of performance that clients can expect under normal circumstances.</p> <p>The Department of Justice has set three service standards for the timely and accurate delivery of Program-related services under normal circumstances.</p> <dl> <dt><strong>Acknowledgement</strong></dt> <dd> <p>Our goal is to acknowledge receipt of your funding application within <strong>7 calendar days</strong> of receiving your funding request.</p> </dd> <dt><strong>Funding Decision</strong></dt> <dd> <p>Our goal is to issue official written notification of the funding decision within <strong>120 calendar days</strong> of the Program's receipt of your completed proposal.</p> </dd> <dt><strong>Payment</strong></dt> <dd> <p>Our goal is to process payments within <strong>28 calendar days</strong> after the completion of the requirements outlined in the contribution agreement or the grant letter.</p> </dd> </dl> <h3>Your Co-operation Counts </h3> <p>The achievement of these service standards is a shared responsibility. To help us provide the best possible service, we require complete and accurate information. Your timely response to questions regarding your funding application helps prevent unnecessary delays.
