About 9.5 million EVs will require charging infrastructure by 2050 in Netherlands alone.</p> <p>The Netherlands already acted before the Paris agreement and implemented the “Energy agreement for sustainable growth” in 2013, aiming to increase the sustainability of the economy and society. The goal of the Energy agreement is to boost the economy while transitioning to a climate neutral energy supply in 2050.</p> <p>European Union as of July 2019 has 144.00 charging points and over 26% are in Netherlands (37,037), with another 19% in Germany (27,459), 17% in France (24,850) and 13% in the United Kingdom (19,076). Together, these four countries account for 76% of all ECV charging points in the EU.</p> <p>Netherlands is leading the Electric Vehicle adoption by implementing smart planning, charging infrastructure, innovative policies and government support.
