Coleman and Justin Sabilla accounted for all four tallies in a 4-2 win over New Jersey Red in the quarterfinals of the 26th Annual America’s Showcase at the RMU Island Sports Center on Neville Island.<br/> <br/> Team Pittsburgh (2-2) had no problem dominating possession during pool play. Yet, the team only managed to covert seven times in those three games. Saturday, Coburn, Coleman and Sabilla teamed up to provide all of the offense in the win.<br/> <br/> “Our line had four goals; we played pretty well,” said Coburn, who scored twice. “Hopefully, next game, we’ll keep playing as good and other people will step up, too.”<br/> <br/> Pittsburgh returns to action against Team Illinois (4-0) in Saturday’s semifinals at 8 p.m.<br/> <br/> “They are a pretty strong team,” Coburn said. “But, I think if we play like that, we can make it pretty far in this tournament. It’s pretty good (to get to the semifinals), especially after we went 1-2 through the first three games. We weren’t sure we’d even make it to the (quarterfinals). We started off well today.”<br/> <br/> Coburn gave Team Pittsburgh a spark as he found the back of the net 4:42 into the game. R.J. Kendi had the assist.<br/> <br/> Team Pittsburgh carried the 1-0 edge in the second period before Coleman’s  power-play goal boosted the lead to 2-0 just 6:29 into the period. Coburn and Kendi had the helpers.<br/> <br/> New Jersey Red’s Matt Collinan trimmed the deficit to 2-1 with a power-play goal of his own 4:36 later.<br/> <br/> Team Pittsburgh’s Sabilla got that back as he converted on the man advantage for a 3-1 buffer with 5:55 left in the period. Coleman and Coburn assisted on the tally.<br/> <br/> New Jersey Red’s Ryan Ertmann skated through Team Pittsburgh’s defense and flipped a backhander in the net for a power-play goal to trim the deficit to 3-2 with 20 seconds left in the period.<br/> <br/> Coburn answered 23 seconds into the third with his second goal of the day to boost Team Pittsburgh’s lead to 4-2. His slapper deflected off a leg and sailed into the goal.<br/> <br/> “I just threw it on net and I got a lucky bounce,” Coburn said. “It definitely helped us out. It was a big goal.”<br/> <br/> That goal erased New Jersey Red’s momentum and Team Pittsburgh’s defense and goaltender Alex Blum took over in the third period. Blum stopped nine of the 11 shots he faced to earn the win.<br/> <br/> “That last goal was a big goal. Our line stepped up today,” Coleman said. “Our defense played really well and our goalie was strong. We needed that.<br/> <br/> “We know we’re up for a challenge against (Team Illinois).
