Changes reflect updates in leadership, positions, or the spellings of officials’ names in the country listings during the period August 27-September 2, 2015. <a href="/web/20150905060253/https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/resources/the-world-factbook/index.html" class="internal-link">September 2, 2015</a> - World Factbook: The “Executive branch” entries for all countries were recently expanded. The subentry ‘elections’ has been replaced with ‘elections/appointments,’ and now includes more detailed information on the selection process for the ‘chief of state’ and ‘head of government’ subentries.
