Before she began her position as a Public Information Officer, she attended the University of South Carolina, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations. While completing her undergraduate years, she gained ample experience in journalism, specifically covering press release writing and social media management. During her college career, Autumn had an internship specializing in marketing and graphics at Alfred Williams and Co. Within this internship, she discovered she wanted to combine her interests in marketing and Public Relations into one profession. At the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Autumn’s primary tasks are to manage Instagram, create content for social media, respond to active scenes when on call, and handle releasing information to the media.
