There are several dog pens on campus, the most central for the Open Day being behind the <a href="https://campus.warwick.ac.uk/search/623c885b421e6f5928c0c7c0?projectId=warwick">Library building</a>, outside the <a href="https://campus.warwick.ac.uk/search/623c8861421e6f5928c0c841?projectId=warwick">University House</a> rear entrance and opposite the <a href="https://campus.warwick.ac.uk/search/623c8860421e6f5928c0c829?projectId=warwick">Bluebell 2</a> residence.</p><hr /><h3>Changing Places</h3><p>The University of Warwick is leading the way by having 6 <a href="http://www.changing-places.org/the_campaign/what_are_changing_places_toilets_.aspx" title="Changing Places website" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Changing Places<i class='new-window-link' aria-hidden='true' title='Link opens in a new window'></i><span class='sr-only'>Link opens in a new window</span></a> facilities across our campuses and is one of only a few Universities to have any, promoting independence and choice for disabled people with complex needs. Please speak to a Student Ambassador or member of staff on the day if you need help finding a Changing Place Toilet.</p><hr /><h3>Hearing Impairments</h3><p>If you wish to sit at the front of a venue to see and hear the speaker more clearly, please arrive at the session venue 15 minutes before the session is due to begin and ask the Student Ambassador on the door to seat you at the front. Interpreters are hired from outside the University, so please let us know as soon as possible so that we can find an interpreter with availability. Our peak times for arrival are between 9am - 12pm, and visitors usually start leaving campus around 2pm. Arriving for the afternoon may provide a less busy experience.</p><hr /><h2>Relaxed Pace Campus Tours</h2><p>Campus Tours run from 9:15am - 4.00pm in groups of up to 15. They normally last around 45 minutes and cover approx. 1km of our central campus area.</p><p>We offer relaxed pace campus tours from 2pm - 4pm run by groups of two or more Student Ambassadors, which may offer a better experience if you have a mobility impairment, require breaks along the tour, prefer smaller group sizes or have a hearing impairment.</p><p>If you'd like to take a relaxed pace tour, please email us at <span id="email1445255854">opendays at warwick dot ac dot uk</span></p><hr /><h2>Venue Access</h2><p>The University campus is generally accessible to wheelchair users and people with mobility impairments. There is a steep gradient on the pathway and road between the Main Campus and Gibbet Hill Campus where Biological Sciences and Warwick Medical School are located, but the rest of the campus is fairly flat. Some routes to the Library are also quite steep, please ask our student ambassadors to direct you via a more accessible route.</p><h3>Lift access</h3><p>The teaching buildings hosting talks and drop-in sessions have lift access to all floors in use.</p><p>Unfortunately we do not have any wheelchairs available to hire on site.</p><h3>Assistance on the day</h3><p>If you require assistance with doors or lifts or you need directions, please ask a member of our team for help.
