W. Birch (Air Gunner), P/O J.H. Catlin (Pilot), Sgt. T.P.F. Hall (Wireless Op), Sgt. T. Powers (Air Gunner), P/O A.W. Pragnell (Navigator), P/O F.C. Sim (Bomb Aimer - RCAF) and Sgt. H.C. Wright (Engineer) crash lands at Manston at 0605hrs after taking off from Kirmington at 2340hrs on the 19th, for a misson over Leipzig. They were attacked by night fighters on the outward trip and were unable to complete their mission because of the damage and injuries, so jettisoned their bomb load before returning.
