The subject book was a bit weird but it added some color to a dark murder. Galbraith / Rowling is a talented writer and storyteller who keeps you intrigued the whole way through. None of the characters is particularly sympathetic, and the mystery was a rather pedestrian one, despite the overblown elaborate and complex murder. There was nothing at stake (no reader is going to get caught up in any suspense about whether the ill-accused wife will be sprung from jail), so there was nothing for me to become emotionally invested in. There was no race against time, and no rush to find a killer-at-large before they can strike again. I love the characters, I love the descriptions and the plot. Rowling's done it again. The case is really interesting, although I've suspected that he would be the kind of a person to kill himself for publicity. I just didn't realise who the second person is.<br>I just love those tiny little HP references by Rowling: Emma Watson. Kings Cross, Orlando...<br>I love thr dimanamics between Cormoran and Robin.
