The editor-in-chief is the distinguished Jian Song with associate editors; Wei Li, Jon Montalban and Jintao Wang. Our goal is to publish quickly—the rapid peer review process is targeting a publication time frame of 10 weeks for most accepted papers. This section is fully open and compliant with funder mandates, including Plan S.</p> <p> </p> <h3><strong>Scope</strong></h3> <p>The IEEE Brodcasting Technology Society section in IEEE Access covers broadcasting is a one-to-many communication service in which the transmissions are intended for direct reception by the general public or a target audience, which may include audio, video and/or data services.
