One of the major benefits of the online version is its ease of use and accessibility. Since the data is stored in the cloud, I can conveniently review and update the data from anywhere in the world. This is a significant advantage over the desktop version. However, during the migration of data or when dealing with bulk entries, I faced an issue where the accounts were not imported correctly based on the import file. This was a bit frustrating and required extra effort to ensure the accuracy of the data. Another downside I encountered was that the system tends to slow down after migrating a large amount of data. It became quite annoying as it took a significant amount of time to process the data and fetch reports. This slowdown affected productivity and efficiency. Additionally, the reporting module in QuickBooks Online provides fixed reports, and the customization options are limited. I found it challenging to tailor the report format to meet specific requirements and needs. Having more options and flexibility in generating customized reports would be a valuable improvement. In conclusion, QuickBooks Online is an accessible and user-friendly accounting software.
