Workiva has versions of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, which help to create documents on the go. It also allows you to import and export data to use outside Wdesk. Even though Wdesk presents a replica tool for Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, one of the best features of Wdesk is that it doesn't require any saving. The documents are auto-saved, and there is an audit trail of every change or update that has happened to them. One disadvantage of Workiva is that it doesn't let you edit and work on an existing Microsoft document. So if you have created a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel and want to continue with it in Workiva, then the same cannot be done. You may have to create a new spreadsheet in Workiva and copy-paste the content. I have been using Workiva to manage my day-to-day documentation. I also use Workiva to complete my certifications, which can be sent to users for review and attestation. Workiva has versions of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, which help to create documents on the go. It also allows you to import and export data to use outside Wdesk. Even though Wdesk presents a replica tool for Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, one of the best features of Wdesk is that it doesn't require any saving. The documents are auto-saved, and there is an audit trail of every change or update that has happened to them. One disadvantage of Workiva is that it doesn't let you edit and work on an existing Microsoft document. So if you have created a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel and want to continue with it in Workiva, then the same cannot be done. You may have to create a new spreadsheet in Workiva and copy-paste the content. I have been using Workiva to manage my day-to-day documentation. I also use Workiva to complete my certifications, which can be sent to users for review and attestation.
