face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" color="#000000">El Instituto Nacional de Estad铆stica -INE-, inicia el estudio de poblaci贸n econ贸micamente activa a trav茅s de encuestas especializadas; con una ronda de cuatro encuestas trimestrales entre abril-2002 y marzo-2003. Posteriormente, del 2004 al 2008 se levantan dos encuestas de empleo (2004, 2007-2008).聽 Dentro del contexto de esa serie hist贸rica y con el apoyo del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), surge la Encuesta Nacional de Empleo e Ingresos聽como respuesta a la necesidad de revisar y actualizar las estad铆sticas de trabajo.</font></span></p><p align="justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" color="#000000">Al generar los resultados de la ENEI-2010 se presta especial atenci贸n en la caracterizaci贸n del subempleo, considerando que las deficiencias del mercado laboral son explicables en funci贸n de las tasas de desempleo; que se presentan reducidas en sociedades en v铆a de desarrollo, y de crecientes tazas de subempleo, que constituyen la caracterizaci贸n de mercados informales de trabajo.</font></span></p><p align="justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" color="#000000">El documento adjunto contiene informaci贸n preparada por el INE, sobre la estructura de la poblaci贸n econ贸micamente activa y los principales estad铆sticos del mercado laboral, como resultado de la Encuesta Nacional de Empleo e Ingresos; realizada en el marco del Sistema Integrado de Encuestas de Hogares (SIEH) del 30 de septiembre al 24 de octubre de 2010.
