Fieldwork for both surveys will take place in the autumn of 2016. If you would like to discuss how to fund or commission some questions, please get in touch with a member of the ARK team. This award will allow us to continue our work with the <a href="http://cain.ulst.ac.uk/nai/index.html"> National Archives of Ireland records on CAIN </a>. The plan is to select and digitise circa 750 Irish government records for the years 1981, 1982,1983, 1984 and 1985.<p> Previously secret records relating to 1986 will be available online from 28 January 2016 at the <a href="http://cain.ulster.ac.uk/proni">PRONI records on CAIN web site</a>. Over 230 documents have been added to the CAIN website as part of ongoing work between Ulster University and the Public Record Office (PRONI). The book, produced with the assistance of the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency, is the outcome of an ARK project which aims to inform and promote debate on social policy issues.
