Supported reports include COUNTER Journal reports JR1, JR1A, JR1GOA, JR2, JR3, JR4, JR5, and CR1. Additional information about the SUSHI protocol can be found at the <a href="http://www.niso.org/workrooms/sushi">NISO website</a>. Additional information about COUNTER can be found at the <a href="http://www.projectcounter.org/">COUNTER website</a>.</p> <p>Per the COUNTER R4 code of practice, if the server takes more than a 120 seconds to return a completed usage report, the server will respond with a "Server Busy" exception. The server will continue to process the usage report request in the background. Once the report is completed, the report will be delivered on subsequent requests. </p> <p>To harvest COUNTER usage statistics via the SUSHI protocol, you will need to have an account on the HighWire Portal (<a href="http://portal.highwire.org">http://portal.highwire.org</a>. To register for an account if you don't have one, go to <a href="http://portal.highwire.org/institutions/">http://portal.highwire.org/institutions/</a> and follow the instructions to create an account. </p> <p>To be able to harvest reports from HighWire-hosted publications, you'll need to configure your SUSHI client as follows: <ul> <li><b>Requestor ID:</b> Any identifying information is acceptable.</li> <li><b>Customer ID:</b> Set to the primary e-mail address associated with your HighWire Portal account, followed by "|", and then your portal password. For example, "someuser@myorganization.org|sla2rty3". </li> </ul> </p> <p>All other fields should be filled in as defined by the SUSHI schema ReportRequest field.
