The NDLSH is used to search the National Diet Library catalog by subject heading. The NDLSH was published in book form from 1964 to 1991. Revisions of the NDLSH have been available in PDF format from the National Diet Library website since 2005.<br /> In 2010, the National Diet Library launched Web NDLSH, a version of the NDLSH optimized for the Web. In 2011, Web NDLSH was expanded to provide name authority data and subject authority data on a single interface.
