field-label-hidden"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item even"> <p>Eun Jeong Cha holds a Ph.D. (2012) and a M.S. (2009) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.S. (2006) in Architectural Engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea. Prior to joining the University of Illinois in 2014, Dr. Cha served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Part-time researcher at the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. </p> <p>Her awards and honors include the ASCE/EMI Probabilistic Methods Committee Student Paper Award in 2012, the International Civil Engineering Risk and Reliability Association (CERRA) Student Recognition Award in 2011, and Korean Government Scholarship in 2007.
