so every good tree yields good fruit: but a corrupt tree yields bad fruit. <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/7-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>a good tree cannot produce bad fruit: neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit. <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/7-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>every tree that doth not yield good fruit, is hewn down and cast into the fire. <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/7-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span>by their fruits then shall ye know them.<p> <A name="22"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/7-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span>Not every one that says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but only they who do the will of my Father who is in heaven. <A name="23"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/7-22.htm"><b>22</b></a></span>many will cry out to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
