It shall be holy<MH6944> within its entire<MH3605> surrounding<MH5439> boundary<MH1366>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-2.htm"><b>2</b></a></span>Out of this<MH2088> there shall be for the sanctuary<MH6944> a square<MH7251> encompassing<MH5439> five<MH2568> hundred<MH3967> by five<MH2568> hundred<MH3967> <i>cubits,</i> and fifty<MH2572> cubits<MH520> for its <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[d]</a></span>open<MH4054> space<MH4054> round<MH5439> about<MH5439>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-3.htm"><b>3</b></a></span>From this<MH2088> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[e]</a></span>area<MH4060a> you shall measure<MH4058> a length<MH753> of twenty-five<MH2568, 6242> thousand<MH505> <i>cubits</i> and a width<MH7341> of ten<MH6235> thousand<MH505> <i>cubits;</i> and in it shall be the sanctuary<MH4720>, the Most<MH6944> Holy<MH6944> Place<MH6944>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>It shall be the holy<MH6944> portion<MH6944> of the land<MH776>; it shall be for the priests<MH3548>, the ministers<MH8334> of the sanctuary<MH4720>, who come<MH7131> near<MH7131> to serve<MH8334> the LORD<MH3068>, and it shall be a place<MH4725> for their houses<MH1004> and a holy<MH4720> place<MH4720> for the sanctuary<MH4720>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span><i>An area</i> twenty-five<MH2568, 6242> thousand<MH505> <i>cubits</i> in length<MH753> and ten<MH6235> thousand<MH505> in width<MH7341> shall be for the Levites<MH3881>, the ministers<MH8334> of the house<MH1004>, <i>and</i> for their possession<MH272> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[f]</a></span>cities in which to live. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>“And you shall give<MH5414> the city<MH5892b> possession<MH272> of <i>an area</i> five<MH2568> thousand<MH505> <i>cubits</i> wide<MH7341> and twenty-five<MH2568, 6242> thousand<MH505> <i>cubits</i> long<MH753>, alongside<MH5980> the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[g]</a></span>allotment<MH8641> of the holy<MH6944> portion<MH6944>; it shall be for the entire<MH3605> house<MH1004> of Israel<MH3478>. <p class="hdg">Portion for the Prince</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>“And the prince<MH5387a> shall have <i>land</i> on either<MH2088> side<MH2088> of the holy<MH6944> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[h]</a></span>allotment<MH8641> and the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[i]</a></span>property<MH272> of the city<MH5892b>, adjacent<MH413, 6440> to the holy<MH6944> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[j]</a></span>allotment<MH8641> and the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[k]</a></span>property<MH272> of the city<MH5892b>, on the west<MH3220> side<MH6285> toward the west<MH3220> and on the east<MH6924b> side<MH6285> toward the east<MH6921>, and in length<MH753> comparable<MH5980> to one<MH259> of the portions<MH2506>, from the west<MH3220> border<MH1366> to the east<MH6921> border<MH1366>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span><i>This</i> shall be his land<MH776> as a possession<MH272> in Israel<MH3478>; so My princes<MH5387a> shall no<MH3808> longer<MH5750> oppress<MH3238> My people<MH5971a>, but they shall give<MH5414> <i>the rest of</i> the land<MH776> to the house<MH1004> of Israel<MH3478> according to their tribes<MH7626>.” <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>‘This<MH3541> is<MH3541> what<MH3541> the Lord<MH136> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[l]</a></span>GOD<MH3068> says<MH559>: “Enough<MH7227a>, you princes<MH5387a> of Israel<MH3478>; get<MH5493> rid<MH5493> of violence<MH2555> and destruction<MH7701>, and practice<MH6213a> justice<MH4941> and righteousness<MH6666>. Revoke<MH7311> your evictions<MH1646> of My people<MH5971a>,” declares<MH5002> the Lord<MH136> GOD<MH3068>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>“You shall have<MH1961> accurate<MH6664> balances<MH3976>, an accurate<MH6664> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[m]</a></span>ephah<MH374>, and an accurate<MH6664> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[n]</a></span>bath<MH1324>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>The ephah<MH374> and the bath<MH1324> shall be <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[o]</a></span>the same<MH259> quantity<MH8506>, so that the bath<MH1324> will contain<MH5375> a tenth<MH4643> of a homer<MH2563c>, and the ephah<MH374> a tenth<MH6224> of a <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[p]</a></span>homer<MH2563c>; <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[q]</a></span>their standard<MH4971> shall be according<MH413> to<MH413> the homer<MH2563c>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>And the shekel<MH8255> shall be twenty<MH6242> gerahs<MH1626>; twenty<MH6242> shekels<MH8255>, twenty-five<MH6242, 2568> shekels<MH8255>, <i>and</i> fifteen<MH2568, 6235> shekels<MH8255> shall be your mina<MH4488>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>“This<MH2088> is the offering<MH8641> that you shall offer<MH7311>: a sixth<MH8345> of an ephah<MH374> from <i>each</i> homer<MH2563c> of wheat<MH2406>; a sixth<MH8341> of an ephah<MH374> from <i>each</i> homer<MH2563c> of barley<MH8184>; <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>and the prescribed<MH2706> portion<MH2706> of oil<MH8081> (<i>namely,</i> the bath<MH1324> of oil<MH8081>), a tenth<MH4643> of a bath<MH1324> from <i>each</i> kor<MH3734a> (<i>which is</i> ten<MH6235> baths<MH1324> <i>or</i> a homer<MH2563c>, for ten<MH6235> baths<MH1324> are a homer<MH2563c>); <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>and one<MH259> sheep<MH7716> from <i>each</i> flock<MH6629> of two hundred<MH3967> from the watering<MH4945b> places<MH4945b> of Israel<MH3478>—for a grain offering<MH4503>, for a burnt<MH5930a> offering<MH5930a>, and for peace<MH8002> offerings<MH8002>, to make<MH3722a> atonement<MH3722a> for them,” declares<MH5002> the Lord<MH136> GOD<MH3068>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>“All<MH3605> the people<MH5971a> of the land<MH776> shall <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[r]</a></span>give<MH1961> to this<MH2088> offering<MH8641> for the prince<MH5387a> in Israel<MH3478>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span>And it shall be the prince’s<MH5387a> part<MH5921> <i>to provide</i> the burnt<MH5930a> offerings<MH5930a>, the grain offerings<MH4503>, and the drink<MH5262a> offerings<MH5262a>, at the feasts<MH2282>, on the new<MH2320> moons<MH2320>, and on the Sabbaths<MH7676>, at all<MH3605> the appointed<MH4150> feasts<MH4150> of the house<MH1004> of Israel<MH3478>; he shall provide<MH6213a> the sin<MH2403b> offering<MH2403b>, the grain offering<MH4503>, the burnt<MH5930a> offering<MH5930a>, and the peace<MH8002> offerings<MH8002>, to make<MH3722a> atonement<MH3722a> for the house<MH1004> of Israel<MH3478>.” <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>‘This<MH3541> is<MH3541> what<MH3541> the Lord<MH136> GOD<MH3068> says<MH559>: “In the first<MH7223> <i>month,</i> on the first<MH259> of the month<MH2320>, you shall take<MH3947> a <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[s]</a></span>bull<MH6499, 1121, 1241> without<MH8549> blemish<MH8549> and cleanse<MH2398> the sanctuary<MH4720> from<MH2398> sin<MH2398>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>And the priest<MH3548> shall take<MH3947> some<MH4480> of the blood<MH1818> from the sin<MH2403b> offering<MH2403b> and put<MH5414> <i>it</i> on the door<MH4201> posts<MH4201> of the house<MH1004>, on the four<MH702> corners<MH6438> of the ledge<MH5835> of the altar<MH4196>, and on the posts<MH4201> of the gate<MH8179> of the inner<MH6442> courtyard<MH2691a>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span>And you shall do<MH6213a> this<MH3651> on the seventh<MH7651> <i>day</i> of the month<MH2320> for everyone<MH376> who does<MH7686> wrong<MH7686> inadvertently<MH7686> or is naive<MH6612a>; so you shall make<MH3722a> atonement<MH3722a> for the house<MH1004>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/ezekiel/45-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span>“In the first<MH7223> <i>month,</i> on the fourteenth<MH702, 6240> day<MH3117> of the month<MH2320>, you shall have<MH1961> the Passover<MH6453>, a feast<MH2282> of seven<MH7620> days<MH3117>;
