data-app-id-name='post_above_content'></div><p><strong>Kevin Whisler</strong>, the longtime drummer of the glam metal band <strong>Bloodgood</strong>, has passed away. </p><p><strong>Kevin Whisler</strong> joined <strong>Bloodgood </strong>in 1988 and played with them until 1991. In 2013, he returned to the band was a consistent member since. Kevin first recorded on the band’s fourth album, <strong><em>Out of the Darkness</em></strong>, followed by several live releases until 2013, when he recorded on the band’s sixth album, <strong><em>Dangerously Close</em></strong>. Whisler was a very active musician, recently joining two tribute bands, including <strong>FEVER 103</strong> and <strong>Get Lucky</strong>. He also had played in <strong>911</strong>, <strong>Clockwork Orange</strong>, and <strong>Watchmen</strong>.</p><p>Unfortunately, in November 2021, <strong>Whisler </strong>fell ill and was unable to work. He was <a href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/kevins-lymphoma-aid" data-type="URL" data-id="https://www.gofundme.com/f/kevins-lymphoma-aid">diagnosed with lymphoma, tested positive for COVID-19, and formed a blood clot in his brain, which resulted in a stroke</a>. On November 5, 2021, he passed away.</p><p>From the Metal Onslaught Magazine staff, our condolences and prayers are with his wife Elaine, their family, and the band.
