Open to family members of prospective and current undergraduate students, the Family Portal provides relevant, up-to-date information about all things Drexel in one central location, as well as pointers and articles about higher education in general.</p> <p>For parents of prospective students — if your student has provided Drexel with your email address, then you can expect to receive an invitation via email in early January of their junior year of high school. This email will include instructions on how to activate your portal account. Once your student applies to Drexel, and you have activated your portal, you will be able to view the status of their application, including a checklist of any missing information and needed next steps.</p> <p>Note: If your email is first provided as part of your student's application, you will be invited to the portal when Drexel receives their application. </p> <p>For parents of current students — you can register for the Family Portal using the link below! Once you're in, you will have the ability to request access to view your student's billing information, financial aid, grades, and class schedules. In accordance with the <a href="/drexelcentral/records/ferpa">Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)</a>, your student will be ultimately responsible for approving or declining access. They will be notified via email once your request is made*. </p> <p>It's important to note that authorized user access to a <a href="/drexelcentral/billing/billing/ebill">student's eBill</a> is separate from a FERPA Waiver for the Family Portal. Your student has the ability to grant you, and other family members, permission to be an authorized user for their eBilling account. Once permission is granted, authorized users are allowed to view their student's official bill and make online eCheck or credit card payments on the student's behalf.
