I personally like how we've been able to use this alongside Lightspeed, which is what we primarily use for statements, invoices, and inventory. Another thing that I appreciated is how it notifies you if you are entering something into the wrong field. The notices that pop up not only tell you what you're doing is wrong, but also provide you with instructions on what the correct tab to use is.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I really wonder why they use the Tab button to commence a search, since it seems so counterintuitive. While it is no longer called Mind Your Own Business (MYOB), it still has that user-friendliness that made it such a hit when we first started using it. The tech support is exceptional and updated on the tables for Local, State, and Federal taxes. I also appreciate how regular updates are given and how quickly bugs are fixed. I've seen the new features they keep addining every time they release a new version and I am impressed. Another impressive thing about this software is that it allows our engineering, payroll, and purchasing to work together because there is a central server that holds the main data file.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> They charge you $500 for three seats every year so that you get updated tax tables for payroll. I use it to keep track of my receivables and payables. I can assign job numbers to projects and code invoices to the job. When I invoice my client I can view the expenses made against the job and add mark-ups as needed before billing. The app also makes it simple to reconcile my bank statements.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I wish I could separate personal details from business details. I use Quicken to manage my personal accounts. There should be an option to open a personal account within this system.
