serve as its third president. I am inspired by our faculty, staff, and students, who drive KGI鈥檚 outsized global footprint and are dedicated to tackling global health challenges and developing leaders who are focused on bringing the power of life sciences to serve society.</p> <p>As a young institution, we have a strong foundation upon which to build, and we sit at the nexus of rapidly evolving fields in healthcare, biotech, and the life sciences. KGI, unlike many higher education institutions, has the ability to accelerate quickly, adapt, and nimbly leverage academic and research partnership opportunities that advance our mission and expand our reach.</p> <p>I am fortunate to follow in the footsteps of Presidents Schuster and Riggs, who paved the way for KGI鈥檚 growth and success over the past 27 years.
