winter begins on December 1, marking the end of meteorological fall.</p><p class="text | article-text">Meteorological fall runs from September through November. She was active in the award-winning on-campus student newscast OU Nightly as an on-air weather anchor and Senior Weather Producer and was an intern for KKTV in her hometown. \n\nHannah worked as a weekend meteorologist at KSWO in Lawton, Oklahoma during her junior year of college where she forecasted for Texoma and provided live coverage of severe weather from ice storms to tornadoes. After her junior year, Hannah interned for CNN Weather + Climate over the summer and later worked as a freelance weather producer for CNN throughout her senior year. Her experience at the national level allowed her to forecast a range of weather phenomena including wildfires, severe weather, blizzards, and the active 2021 hurricane season. \n\nMoving from Oklahoma to Louisiana after graduation, Hannah joined the Fox 8 weather team in May. She is excited to get to know the community and the local climate of New Orleans. In her free time Hannah loves to sing, go outdoors, spend time with her loved ones and watch Sooner football.
