It's a feeding frenzy spectacle. At one point, something spooked them and they took to the air. We were standing out on a mud flat at the time and it sort of felt like they were circling us -- very loud and kind of surreal (and somehow we escaped without getting anything falling on us). This is my effort at capturing the chaotic moment, quickly snapping five frames for a panorama.
