communication between staff and the administration and other members of the university community on matters of interest to staff employees, in accordance with California laws and regental policy. <span>Our activities provide forums where staff at all levels can discuss issues of mutual concern, and offer opinions and recommendations on policies, processes and programs.</span></p></div> <div class="span4"><p>Led by a <a href="steering-committee/index.html">steering committee</a> of seven to fourteen employees from across UCOP's units and departments, the assembly also fosters an understanding of the university’s mission and UCOP's connection to UC campuses, hospitals and laboratories by providing networking opportunities to increase exchange of knowledge in all aspects of the
