Upward Bound has 3 elements: academic year services, summer program, and summer bridge after high school graduation. By participating in Upward Bound events, students are not only growing and learning, but they are also earning some money (up to $40/month during the academic year, and additional compensation for participation in the Upward Bound Summer Program).</p></section></div> <div id="c811798" class="frame frame-default frame-type-text frame-layout-0"><section><header><h4 class=""> Mission, Vision, Educational Priority </h4></header><p><strong>Mission:</strong> North Dakota State University Upward Bound strives to support high school students from Fargo-Moorhead to reach their full personal and academic potential through participation in program services. Upward Bound aims to enhance student experiences and development by cultivating a supportive learning environment that allows students to focus on growing their skills, talents, and motivations to succeed in high school and transition to post-secondary education.</p><p><strong>Vision:</strong> North Dakota State University Upward Bound’s vision is to increase access and opportunities for students to succeed in high school and enroll in and graduate from post-secondary education.
