Being in God's presence signifies favor, protection, and blessing. In the Old Testament, God's presence was often associated with the Tabernacle or Temple, where His glory dwelt (<a href="/exodus/25-8.htm">Exodus 25:8</a>, <a href="/1_kings/8-10.htm">1 Kings 8:10-11</a>).
