With 3.6.3, there is a fix in place that makes this easier.</p> <h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Fix_for_that_issue">Fix for that issue</span></h2> <p>Please use one of the following methods to update your version of Joomla!:</p> <p>To update from 3.6.1 or earlier, you can use the updater as normal. Then update to 3.6.3 to prevent the security issue fixed in 3.6.2. You will see the re-login screen twice (see above).
