these are my feasts.<p> <A name="4"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-3.htm#aramaic"><b>3</b></a></span>Six days you shall do work and the seventh day is the Sabbath, and you shall be tranquil holiness to LORD JEHOVAH and you shall do no work; it is the Sabbath to LORD JEHOVAH in every house of your dwellings.<p> <A name="5"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-4.htm#aramaic"><b>4</b></a></span>These are the feast days of LORD JEHOVAH; you shall announce them as called and holy in their times. <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-5.htm#aramaic"><b>5</b></a></span>In the first month in the fourteenth in the month, between evenings, is Passover to LORD JEHOVAH. <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-6.htm#aramaic"><b>6</b></a></span>And on the fifteenth in the same month is the feast of unleavened bread to LORD JEHOVAH; seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-7.htm#aramaic"><b>7</b></a></span>The first day is announced and shall be holy to you and you shall do no work of labor. <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>And bring gifts to LORD JEHOVAH seven days, and the seventh day shall be announced and holy, and you shall do no work of labor.'"<p> <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>And LORD JEHOVAH spoke with Moshe and said to him: <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-10.htm#aramaic"><b>10</b></a></span>&#8220;Speak with the children of Israel and say to them: &#8216;Whenever you shall enter to the land that I give to you and you have harvested its harvest, bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the Priest: <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-11.htm#aramaic"><b>11</b></a></span>And you shall dedicate the sheaf before LORD JEHOVAH to be acceptable, and after another day the Priest shall dedicate it. <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-12.htm#aramaic"><b>12</b></a></span>And you shall offer a male lamb a year old that has no defect in it, in the day that you dedicate the sheaf, as a burnt peace offering to LORD JEHOVAH. <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-13.htm#aramaic"><b>13</b></a></span>And its offering is two tenths of two threegallon measures fine flour that is sprinkled with oil, a gift to LORD JEHOVAH for a sweet savor, and its drink offering, a fourth of a hin of wine. <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-14.htm#aramaic"><b>14</b></a></span>And the bread and parched corn and new corn you shall not eat until this day, until the day that you bring a gift to your God: the Written Law to eternity for your generations in every house of your dwellings.<p> <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-15.htm#aramaic"><b>15</b></a></span>And count to yourselves after the day that you bring a sheaf of the dedication: seven weeks shall be complete: <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-16.htm#aramaic"><b>16</b></a></span>Unto after the seventh week, count fifty days, and bring a meal offering from The New to LORD JEHOVAH. <A name="18"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-17.htm#aramaic"><b>17</b></a></span>From among your dwellings bring the bread of the offering; let them be two loaves of two tenths of fine flour and leaven; they shall be baked first fruits to LORD JEHOVAH. <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-18.htm#aramaic"><b>18</b></a></span>And bring with the bread seven lambs, offspring of a year that have no defect in them, and one bullock, son of an oxen, and two rams; they shall be burnt peace offerings to LORD JEHOVAH and their meal offerings and their drink offerings, gifts for a sweet savor to LORD JEHOVAH. <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-19.htm#aramaic"><b>19</b></a></span>And offer one kid of goats for the sake of sin and two lambs, offspring of one year old for a peace sacrifice. <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-20.htm#aramaic"><b>20</b></a></span>And the Priest shall dedicate them with the bread of first fruits, an offering before LORD JEHOVAH with two lambs; they shall be holy before LORD JEHOVAH for the Priest. <A name="22"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-21.htm#aramaic"><b>21</b></a></span>And announce this day &#8220;Called and holy&#8221;, and you shall do no work of labor: the Written Law to eternity for your generations in every house of your dwelling.<p> <A name="23"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-22.htm#aramaic"><b>22</b></a></span>And when you harvest the harvest of your land, you shall not finish the edges of your fields in your harvest and you shall not glean the gleaning of your harvest, but leave them for the poor and for those who are converted to me; it shall be announced and holy to you. <A name="26"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-25.htm#aramaic"><b>25</b></a></span>And you shall do no work of labor and bring offerings to LORD JEHOVAH.'"<p> <A name="27"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-26.htm#aramaic"><b>26</b></a></span>And LORD JEHOVAH spoke with Moshe and said to him, <A name="28"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-27.htm#aramaic"><b>27</b></a></span>&#8220;Speak with the children of Israel and say to them: &#8216;In the tenth of this seventh month is the day of atonement; it shall be proclaimed and holy to you, and humble your souls and bring gifts to LORD JEHOVAH. <A name="29"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-28.htm#aramaic"><b>28</b></a></span>And you shall do no work in this day, because it is the day of atonement to atone for you before LORD JEHOVAH your God. <A name="30"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-29.htm#aramaic"><b>29</b></a></span>Because every soul that will not be humbled in this day will be destroyed from his people. <A name="31"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-30.htm#aramaic"><b>30</b></a></span>And every soul who will do any work in this day I shall destroy that soul from among his people. <A name="32"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-31.htm#aramaic"><b>31</b></a></span>And you shall do no work: the Written Law to eternity for your generations in every house of your dwelling. <A name="33"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-32.htm#aramaic"><b>32</b></a></span>It is a Sabbath rest to you, and humble your souls in the ninth of the month in the evening; between evenings, from evening and unto evening, rest your Sabbaths.'"<p> <A name="34"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-33.htm#aramaic"><b>33</b></a></span>And LORD JEHOVAH spoke with Moshe and said to him, <A name="35"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-34.htm#aramaic"><b>34</b></a></span>&#8220;Speak with the children of Israel and say to them: &#8216;In the fifteenth of this, the seventh month, make a feast of tabernacles seven days before LORD JEHOVAH. <A name="36"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-35.htm#aramaic"><b>35</b></a></span>The first day shall be proclaimed and holy to you and you shall do no work of labor. <A name="37"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-36.htm#aramaic"><b>36</b></a></span>And bring gifts to LORD JEHOVAH for seven days, and the eighth day shall be proclaimed and holy to you, and bring gifts to LORD JEHOVAH and be assembled and you shall do no work of labor.<p> <A name="38"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-37.htm#aramaic"><b>37</b></a></span>These are the feast days of LORD JEHOVAH, so that you shall proclaim them announced and holy, and you shall bring gifts in them to LORD JEHOVAH: burnt peace offerings and fine wheat flour and drink offerings and sacrifices; it is right day by day: <A name="39"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-38.htm#aramaic"><b>38</b></a></span>Apart from the Sabbaths of LORD JEHOVAH and apart from your offerings and apart from your gifts and apart from all of your vows and apart from all your offerings that you are giving to LORD JEHOVAH.<p> <A name="40"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-39.htm#aramaic"><b>39</b></a></span>However, in fifteenth of the seventh month, whenever you gather crops of the land, make a feast to LORD JEHOVAH seven days: in the first day, suspension of labor, and in the eighth day, rest. <A name="41"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-40.htm#aramaic"><b>40</b></a></span>Take to you in the first day the fruit of beautiful orange trees and the hearts of palm trees and myrtle and willow, and rejoice before LORD JEHOVAH your God seven days, all of the house of Israel. <A name="42"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-41.htm#aramaic"><b>41</b></a></span>And make this festival to LORD JEHOVAH seven days in a year: the Written Law to eternity for your generations; make it in the seventh month. <A name="43"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-42.htm#aramaic"><b>42</b></a></span>Dwell in huts seven days; all of the house of Israel will dwell in huts: <A name="44"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/23-43.htm#aramaic"><b>43</b></a></span>That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in huts when I brought them out from the land of Egypt;
