others receiving bogus messages is increasing. Recently, the AAPT Executive Office was informed by several individuals that they received a bogus message from a current Board of Directors member. Several other members indicated that they received a message about receiving a copy of the attendee list for the 2020 AAPT Winter Meeting from a bogus marketing company with no relationship to AAPT. These messages were not sent by or on behalf of AAPT. If you received a copy of either message or any other suspicious message do not open it or click on links within. If the message looks like it originates from AAPT but does not have an aapt.org email address, then delete it immediately.
