Do you wish to resume power to both polarities as soon as both are present? What if your connector has scratchy contacts? What if frequent use creates a bad wire connection? Do you wish to resume power to both polarities as soon as both are present? What if your connector has scratchy contacts? What if frequent use creates a bad wire connection? Isn't the aim to save a $100 IC?\n\nAnother thing...
