With Forbes noting the value of gold around $,1900 an ounce right now, it is crucial that pawnbrokers know exactly how much gold – and especially confirm that it’s not counterfeit — is in the jewelry that they are buying and selling.</p> <p>When it comes to assessing the value of gold, pawnbrokers play a crucial role in determining its authenticity.
