name="2"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-1.htm#aramaic"><b>1</b></a></span>And LORD JEHOVAH spoke with Moshe and said to him, <A name="3"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-2.htm#aramaic"><b>2</b></a></span>"Lead Ahron and his children with him and take clothing and the oil of his anointing and a bull of sin offering and two rams and a basket of unleavened bread"; <A name="4"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-3.htm#aramaic"><b>3</b></a></span>And he gathered all of the assembly to the door of the Time Tabernacle." <A name="5"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-4.htm#aramaic"><b>4</b></a></span>And Moshe did as LORD JEHOVAH commanded him. <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-5.htm#aramaic"><b>5</b></a></span>This is the commandment that LORD JEHOVAH commanded to do.<p> <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-6.htm#aramaic"><b>6</b></a></span>And Moshe brought Ahron and his children and he washed them in water. <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-7.htm#aramaic"><b>7</b></a></span>And he clothed him with a coat and bound him with a girdle and clothed him with the breastplate and tied an apron around his waist and he put upon him the ephod and he bound him with the belt of the ephod. <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>And he put upon him the breastplate and he put on the breastplate knowledge and truth. <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>And he laid the turban on his head and set a crown of gold, a holy crown on the turban over his face, just as LORD JEHOVAH commanded Moshe.<p> <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-10.htm#aramaic"><b>10</b></a></span>And Moshe took the oil of the anointing and anointed the Tabernacle and everything that is in it and hallowed them. <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-11.htm#aramaic"><b>11</b></a></span>And he sprinkled from it on the altar seven times and anointed the altar and all its implements and the basin and he anointed its base and hallowed them. <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-12.htm#aramaic"><b>12</b></a></span>And he poured from the oil of the anointing on the head of Ahron and he anointed him and hallowed him. <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-13.htm#aramaic"><b>13</b></a></span>And brought Moshe near the children of Ahron and clothed them with coats and bound them with girdles and made for them tiaras just as LORD JEHOVAH commanded Moshe.<p> <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-14.htm#aramaic"><b>14</b></a></span>And he brought the bull of sin offering and Ahron and his sons placed their hands on the head of the ox of sin offering. <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-15.htm#aramaic"><b>15</b></a></span>And Moshe slaughtered it and took from the blood with his finger and sprinkled on the horns of the altar as a circle and purified the altar and he poured the blood on the base of the altar and hallowed it and atoned for it. <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-16.htm#aramaic"><b>16</b></a></span>And he took all the fat that covered the innards and the liver caul and the two kidneys and their fat and Moshe offered it up on the altar. <A name="18"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-17.htm#aramaic"><b>17</b></a></span>And the bull and his skin and his flesh and his dung he burned in fire outside of the camp, just as LORD JEHOVAH commanded Moshe.<p> <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-18.htm#aramaic"><b>18</b></a></span>And he brought a ram of a burnt offering to be burned, and Ahron and his sons placed their hands on the head of the ram. <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-19.htm#aramaic"><b>19</b></a></span>And Moshe slaughtered it and sprinkled from its blood on the altar as a circle. <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-20.htm#aramaic"><b>20</b></a></span>And he cut up the limbs of the ram in pieces and Moshe offered up the head and the members and the fat. <A name="22"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-21.htm#aramaic"><b>21</b></a></span>And the innards and the legs he washed in water and Moshe offered up the ram whole on the altar, burning the burnt offering for a savor of fragrance, a gift to LORD JEHOVAH, as LORD JEHOVAH commanded Moshe.<p> <A name="23"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-22.htm#aramaic"><b>22</b></a></span>And he brought the second ram, the ram of consecration, and Ahron and his sons placed their hands on the head of the ram. <A name="24"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-23.htm#aramaic"><b>23</b></a></span>And Moshe slaughtered it and he took from the blood and sprinkled it on the lobe of the right ear of Ahron and upon the thumb of his right hand and upon the big toe of his right foot. <A name="25"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-24.htm#aramaic"><b>24</b></a></span>And he brought the sons of Ahron and Moshe sprinkled from the blood on the lobes of their right ears and upon the thumbs of their right hands and upon the big toes of their right feet and Moshe sprinkled blood on the altar as a circle. <A name="26"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-25.htm#aramaic"><b>25</b></a></span>And he took the fat and the fat tail and all the fat that covers the innards and the liver caul and both kidneys and their fat and the right shouldershank: <A name="27"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-26.htm#aramaic"><b>26</b></a></span>And from a seah of unleavened bread that is before LORD JEHOVAH, he took one unleavened cake and one cake of oil and one pancake and lay them on the fat and upon the right shouldershank: <A name="28"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-27.htm#aramaic"><b>27</b></a></span>And he put all of them into the hands of Ahron and into the hands of his children and offered them as an offering before LORD JEHOVAH. <A name="29"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-28.htm#aramaic"><b>28</b></a></span>And Moshe took them from their hands and offered them up on the burning altar of the burnt offering to be a consecration for a savory fragrance as a gift to LORD JEHOVAH. <A name="30"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-29.htm#aramaic"><b>29</b></a></span>And Moshe took the breast and he set apart an offering before LORD JEHOVAH, and a portion from the ram of consecration was for Moshe as LORD JEHOVAH commanded Moshe.<p> <A name="31"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-30.htm#aramaic"><b>30</b></a></span>And Moshe took from the oil of anointing and from the blood upon the altar and he sprinkled it on Ahron and upon his clothes and upon his sons and upon the clothing of his sons with him, and hallowed Ahron and his clothes and his sons and the clothes of his sons with him.<p> <A name="32"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-31.htm#aramaic"><b>31</b></a></span>And Moshe said to Ahron and his sons, “Cook the flesh in the doorway of the Time Tabernacle and eat it there and the bread that is in the basket of consecration as I was commanded that Ahron and his sons shall eat it. <A name="33"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-32.htm#aramaic"><b>32</b></a></span>And anything that is left of the flesh and of the bread, you shall burn it in fire. <A name="34"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-33.htm#aramaic"><b>33</b></a></span>And you shall not exit from the door of the Time Tabernacle for seven days until the days of your consecration are full because your hands are consecrated for seven days. <A name="35"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-34.htm#aramaic"><b>34</b></a></span>As I have done this day, so LORD JEHOVAH commanded to do and to make atonement for you. <A name="36"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/leviticus/8-35.htm#aramaic"><b>35</b></a></span>And remain inside the door of the Time Tabernacle for seven days, day and night, and keep the charge of LORD JEHOVAH and you shall not
