For many years, its component schools have been heavily involved in public debates. They boast renowned outreach entities (Mines de Paris-PSL mineralogy museum, Marie Curie’s house at Institut Curie-PSL, Espace Pierre-Gilles de Gennes, etc.). They also host leading events aimed at disseminating scientific knowledge and participate in major events in France and internationally (such as Fête de la Science, Nuit des Musées, and Nuits de la the professional equality index in french civil service</h3> <p>The professional equality index forms part of the 3rd axis <a href="https://www.fonction-publique.gouv.fr/toutes-les-publications/accord-du-30-novembre-2018-relatif-legalite-professionnelle-entre-les-femmes-et-les-hommes-dans-la-fonction-publique">of the agreement of 30 November 2018 on professional equality between women and men in the civil service</a>, the aim of which is to guarantee equal rights in the career development and equal pay of employees regardless of their status.<br> Its aim is to highlight the differences between men's and women's pay in public establishments, and to identify areas for improvement in order to promote equal pay.<br> To this end, it is made up of three elements, the calculation of which are determined by the french civil service department known as Direction générale de l’administration et de la fonction public (DGAFP):</p> <ul> <li>Equal pay for civil servants;</li> <li>Equal pay for public-sector contract worker;</li> <li>Ten highest salaries.</li> </ul> <p>After weighting the first two elements according to the number of FTE (full-time equivalent) civil servants and public-sector contract worker in the establishment and allocating a number of points for the third element according to the result obtained, these three give a score out of 100 corresponding to the result of the public establishment over the reference year.</p> <h3>PSL University 2023 results</h3> <div alt="Score
