And in February 2025, he happens to be where the Super Bowl is, too — the SuperDome stadium in New Orleans.</p> <p>Levit worked for the University’s student-run <a href="https://drexel.edu/westphal/academics/undergraduate/FMTV/dutv/">DUTV</a> as well as the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team and the Philadelphia Eagles football team during his co-ops at Drexel. He now works as a ticket operations associate for the New Orleans Pelicans basketball team and New Orleans Saints football team; the big game will be held at the latter’s stadium.</p> <p>“There are great vibes all over the city,” Levit said. “This has been a crazy week. There was media day and had another event last night. There’s just a ton going on, but we’re having fun with it. I feel like it’s less like work and more like fun, and I love that.”</p> <p>Levit will actually be at the stadium during the Super Bowl, working and helping guests with their tickets, but he’s hoping he can catch a bit of the game here and there. Levit worked for the Eagles as a ticket and fan services intern during the 2022–23 season, which resulted in a Super Bowl run for the Birds. It was valuable not only because of that super season, but also because of the real-world work experience it gave him with a 40-hour work week and exposure to different programs and work styles.</p> <p>“I think it gave me more insight on what it’s like to work for a winning team, because when I worked with the Flyers, they didn’t have their best season. I got to experience what it’s like for a team to make it deep into the playoffs, but I also know what it’s like for a team to just not have their best year,” Levit said. “That was valuable to learn early in my career, especially in a ticketing role.”</p> <p>With the Eagles, he worked more in customer service, helping fans with their tickets and helping with day-to-day tasks. He also learned about how season ticket member processes work and how to help fans on game day. It’s not quite the same as what he does now, but the co-op experience certainly helped him get ready for it. And of course, the opportunity gave him other experiences he won’t forget.</p> <p>“I still remember [the 2023 NFC championship game] like it was yesterday: the NFC championship win and being on the field, hugging all the employees of the organization,” Levit said. “It felt like being part of a family at that point.”</p> <p>Levit’s experiences at Drexel, both on co-op and in the classroom, were instrumental in getting him to where he is today. His Bennett S. LeBow College of Business professors, including <a href="https://www.lebow.drexel.edu/people/sarahnapoli">Sarah Napoli</a>, assistant clinical professor of sport business, served as great mentors and resources for him to make connections and gain knowledge, from reading résumés to making connections to making sure students are knowledgeable about sports industry.</p> </div> <div class="rich-text "> <section class="image-block image-block--float-right " > <div class="image-block__image-wrapper"> <picture> <img alt="Aaron Levit " src="/news/~/media/Drexel/Core-Site-Group/News/Images/v2/story-images/2025/February/A21I0667.jpeg" /> </picture> </div> </section> <p>“With co-op and transitioning from classes to work and back to classes, you’re living two very different lives, but at the same time, you have people who care about what you do and they will do everything they can to help you out,” Levit said. “There’s no ‘normal day’ in sports, so the professors want you to be knowledgeable, because everything that happens could apply to you and your situation or job. That’s a huge key to success in any industry.”</p> <p>Even though Levit works for the Saints, he’s still a fan of his college town’s team. On media day, which is when teams are photographed and interviewed by media outlets, after he was done working, he shed all markers of his professional affiliation and donned an Eagles hat, yelling “Go Birds” to Eagles fans around New Orleans.</p> <p>“I know Eagles fans have a reputation outside of Philly, but it’s a great fanbase and they’ve been so nice when I’ve seen a bunch of them here,” Levit said. “This isn’t their city, but they treat it like home.
