class="rte no-margin"> <p>The Australian Ballet School presents two major productions each year. <a title="Showcase Performance" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20200626222944/https://the-australian-ballet-school.myshopify.com/pages/showcase-performance">Showcase</a> is offered in Melbourne and one other city, and usually takes place in September. Our <a title="End of Year Performance" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20200626222944/https://the-australian-ballet-school.myshopify.com/pages/end-of-year-performance">end of year production</a> happens at Arts Centre Melbourne in December.</p> <p>Students also perform a morning programme at various venues across Melbourne in May; usually Arts Centre Melbourne, Clocktower in Moonee Ponds and Frankston Arts Centre. Our Level 8 students may also have the opportunity to perform with <a title="Performance Opportunities" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20200626222944/https://the-australian-ballet-school.myshopify.com/pages/performance-opportunities">The Dancers Company</a>, on The Australian Ballet’s regional tour.</p> <p>Every two years students from Australia and overseas have the opportunity to take part in The Australian Ballet School <a title="Scholarship Awards" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20200626222944/https://the-australian-ballet-school.myshopify.com/pages/scholarship-awards">Scholarship Awards</a>. This event provides a pathway for students to display their artistic and technical abilities, through masterclasses and performance; with the best students earning scholarships and training opportunities with the School. Members of the public are invited to enjoy the onstage performances.</p> <p>Every year the School holds a Health and Well-being Workshop which is beneficial for the education of dance industry professionals and is often also of interest to dance students and their parents. Past events have been on the topics of Inner Strength, The Young Dancer’s Mind and Pointe Matters.</p> <p>Our annual <a title="Public Access Day" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20200626222944/https://the-australian-ballet-school.myshopify.com/pages/public-access-day">Public Access Day</a> is always a special event on the School’s calendar and provides everyone with a chance to see the students training in the state of the art facilities of The Primrose Potter Australian Ballet Centre in Melbourne.
