required for health and well-being. The cover image shows many of the building blocks that make up a holistic concept of health, including mental, spiritual, physical, and social influences. The World Health Organization defines health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Well-being is a condition in which the whole is more than the sum of its parts; an individual healthy behavior, no matter how consistently maintained, may not affect overall health.
