class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>We are pleased to invite submissions for the prestigious <strong>Early Career Scientist Awards</strong> to be presented at the upcoming <strong>World Congress on ADHD</strong> in Prague, 8-11 May 2025.</p><p>Two awards will be given for the best presentations in recognition of outstanding research:</p><ul><li><strong>The Joseph Sergeant Award</strong>: This award will go to the best presentation from an early-career scientist holding a PhD or an MD degree.</li><li><strong>The Joseph Biederman Award</strong>: This award will go to the best presentation from an early-career scientist holding a PhD or an MD degree.</li></ul><p><strong>Eligibility:</strong></p><ul><li>Abstract authors need to register for the congress before submitting an abstract.</li><li>Applicants must be <strong>35 years old or younger</strong> at the time of submission. A respective proof needs to be provided during the submission process.</li><li>Submissions are open to researchers who have completed their PhD or MD degree.</li><li>Abstracts which are not selected for presentation in the Early Career Scientist Awards Symposium will be presented during the Guided Poster Tour Session.</li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p><p>To compete for these awards, submit your poster presentation abstract <strong>by 15 January 2025</strong>. Full details on the submission process can be found <a href="/abstract-submission/abstract-guidelines.html">here</a>.</p><p><strong>Selection Process:</strong></p><p>From the submitted abstracts, the Scientific Programme Committee select eight abstracts, who will be invited to give a lecture in <strong>two Early Career Scientist Awards Symposia</strong>. Each symposium comprises four 20-minute lectures and is chaired by recognized experts for the featured topic, who will then select the best presentation in each case. Awardees will receive a monetary grant worth EUR 1.000 and an award certificate.
