In every other way, it's the least impressive handset in this bunch, but its insane US$180 full retail price is its killer feature. It's a solid mid-ranged phone for a rock-bottom price.</p> <p>The OnePlus One <em>looks</em> like an amazing deal, but the company earned that big honkin' asterisk next to its price. Despite "launching" in June, you still can't go online and buy the damn thing. You'll need to either get an invite (which usually means knowing someone else who bought one) or order one during one of OnePlus' "pre-order windows." Again no Sony Xperia?? 2 Apples, 2 Samsungs, 2 HTC's and effectively THREE Motorolas: but not a single Sony? Even though the Z3 is widely regarded as one of the best phones on the market! Someone there has clearly a serious issue with Sony - or is just extremely lazy, and doesn't really know what they are talking about. Needless to say, once I saw no Sony in the line up, I didn't bother reading any more.
