In order to achieve the objectives the researchers made a descriptive type of case study research design as a qualitative research. The study population was a special school of learners with disability in the village of western Tobago. Due to the homogenous nature of the population three learners among the 35-40 students were chosen as per the direction of the school principal who were observed for a month at three days per week. Three teachers were directed to make three lesson plans on teaching them with the help of music for a month and the lesson plans were revised by the researchers before implementation and then two of the teachers were deep-interviewed with guided open-ended questions. This was done with the approval of the principal and an indication that all protocols were being followed along the design and collection of the study. Thus, natural observation over the learners and focus group interview helped to collect the data for the purpose of the research. These observations and interviews were thematically analysed to understand the issues related to using music as an intervention tool in the teaching and learning of students with Music can be used in this context, mainly exploring cultural, motivational and linguistic aspects that involve phonetic-phonological aspects. The objective of this study is to select a set of songs with explicit literacy content in order to provide a basis that supports the teacher in the intentional approach of these elements. This is an exploratory, descriptive and qualitative research. A web search was carried out using the descriptor music and literacy and as an inclusion criterion the explicit teaching of reading/writing. Ten songs were selected in order to establish post-fixed categories of analysis, organizing the content from its direct link with the development of reading and writing skills. The results pointed to elements related to pictorial representation, lip/gestural reading, phonetic-phonological awareness, word segmentation and phoneme/grapheme conversion.The importance of intentionality and explicit presentation of the content was discussed. We intend to find solutions for children with motor disabilities due to Cerebral Palsy who enter in music Arts education programmes in the First Cycle of Basic Education, to develop their music potential and abilities through the use of Digital Technologies and Assistive Technologies. The aim of this article is to present a brief literature review of the influence of music education as a new challenge of lifelong special and inclusive education. We will focus on the Williams syndrome, in which the aim of smooth growth and inclusion is achieved more effectively through the influence of music. The cognitive contrasts, which the people with Williams syndrome present, worry scholars and educators. The result is the education of these people to often focus on their weaknesses, e.g. cognitive tests in problem solving and not on their talents e.g. communication, music. However, when these people are approached educationally and therapeutically through their abilities-and not through their any weaknesses, then another perspective of special education and training emerges, that of the development of talents. In this, the educational environment can play a major part and the aims which is called to serve. When an educational environment is a pleasing and interesting challenge, then it acts as a framework of creativity and activation of any auspices and talents of the people with Williams syndrome. In conclusion, the coupling of knowledge and experience emerges as the main methodological and pedagogical objective, as the student with special needs is facilitated towards a process of exploration of his behavioural drives and parallel learning of ways of behaviour and attitudes which do not rely only on knowledge.
