can apply for a fee-exempt</p> <ul> <li>open work permit</li> <li>study permit</li> <li>extension to your temporary resident status in Canada</li> <li>temporary resident permit (if you currently have a valid temporary resident permit in Canada and need to apply for a new one)</li> </ul> <h2 id="s1">Who’s eligible to apply</h2> <ul> <li>Lebanese nationals in Canada with valid temporary resident status</li> <li>Non-Lebanese foreign national family members of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who <ul> <li><strong>left Lebanon on or after September 29, 2024,</strong> and</li> <li>are in Canada with valid temporary resident status</li> </ul> </li> <li>Non-Lebanese foreign nationals who are affected by the <a
