humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. Journals span continents and languages, with titles from 1,200 publishers from 57 countries. It is why users conducted 262 million searches, and viewed and downloaded more than 230 million journal articles 2019 alone.</p> <p><strong>Quality:</strong> JSTOR collections are curated, and all journals must meet specific criteria and undergo a review process in order to join JSTOR. This includes journal rankings, in depth examination of research and citation data, and more.</p> <p><strong>Coverage:</strong> All journals include the full archival run. This means all issues, from volume 1, issue 1, are provided for every journal up to the moving wall, including all previous and related titles. Digital files for the entire archive are preserved using the approach and infrastructure developed by Portico.</p> <h2>Journal Hosting Program</h2> <p>JSTOR’s Journal Hosting Program integrates the most recent issues of journals with archival journals and ebooks on JSTOR. Current issues of journals are cross-searchable and linked in ways that help scholars discover, use, and build upon a wide range of academic content.</p> <p>The 2020 program features the most recent issues more than 250 titles from 50 leading publishers. Titles span more than 20 disciplines, including leading journals in core areas such as business & economics, education, history, and language & literature.</p> <p>Current issue access is provided back to the “born digital” date for each title, and access remains fixed back to this date with each additional subscription year. Subscriptions are available in electronic format, plus print+electronic for some titles. Subscriptions to single titles or discounted publisher packages are available, and institutions can order subscriptions through an agent or directly with JSTOR.
