2015. He oversees the schools of medicine and pharmacy, for which he directs disability initiatives, and conducts faculty and staff training. He oversees the school of nursing and dentistry, as well as assistive technology needs for the entire campus's student population. He is a student-focused advisor and assistive-tech user, with expertise in putting immediately deployable solutions into the hands of students.</p> <p>Since 2006, Clay has worked in student disability services across the spectrum of education, in K-12, community colleges, undergraduate, and graduate levels. Jon came to UCSF from Amazon, where he was the Senior Accommodation Consultant for US corporate accommodations. Prior to that, Jon's career in higher education spans 15+ years working at public and private universities, determining accommodations, leading teams, and providing consultation on ADA matters of digital and physical access. He has worked at University of Washington, Western Washington University and Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine, among other institutions.
