href="/stats/detail_stats.html?id=51524" target="_blank" title="새 창으로 열기">2023년 SW산업 분야별 해외진출 비중</a> </span>  <p> 우리나라 소프트웨어(SW) 산업이 44조원 규모로 성장했지만 해외진출 기업 비중은 3%에 불과해 맞춤형 수출 지원책이 필요하다는 지적이 제기됐다.<br /> <br /> 특히 잠재수출기업 비중이 30%에 달해 제대로 된 지원책만 마련된다면 수출을 활성화할 수 있다는 분석이다.<br /> <br /> 소프트웨어정책연구소는 최근 '소프트웨어 기업의 해외진출 및 지원사업 현황과 시사점' 보고서에서 이 같이 밝혔다.<br /> <br /> 연구소는 국내 3000여개 SW기업을 조사한 SW산업실태조사 보고서를 심층 분석했다. 그 결과 우리나라 SW시장 규모는 2022년 39조 2000억원에서 올해 44조 4000억원 수준으로 2년사이 13% 성장했다.<br /> <br /> 이 가운데 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 분야는 게임SW로 23조7000억원 수준이다. 정보기술(IT)서비스(10조4000억원)와 패키지SW(10조3000억원)가 뒤를 이었다. 특히 패키지 SW는 올해 처음으로 시장 규모가 10조원을 돌파했다.<br /> <br /> 그러나 국내 SW 기업 가운데 해외진출 활동을 펼치는 기업은 3%에 불과한 것으로 나타났다.<br /> <br /> 게임SW 기업 중 해외진출을 추진하는 기업 비중은 13.3%로 상대적으로 높았지만, 패키지SW(2.7%)와 IT서비스(1.7%)기업 가운데 수출을 타진하는 곳은 극히 적었다.<br /> <br /> 연구소는 글로벌 SW 시장 성장률이 국내보다 높은 만큼 해외시장을 적극 공략해야 한다고 조언했다.<br /> <br /> 연구소에 따르면 올해 세계 패키지SW 시장 성장률은 12%로 2026년까지 해마다 10%대 성장세를 유지할 전망이다.<br /> <br /> 연구소는 “패키지SW와 IT서비스 분야 국내 SW시장 성장률은 글로벌 SW시장 성장률에 비해 낮은 추세를 유지하고 있어 국내 SW기업은 보다 적극적으로 해외진출을 통한 성장을 모색할 필요가 있다”고 강조했다.<br /> <br /> 조사 기업 가운데 수출을 타진하고 있는 잠재수출기업 비중은 30%에 달했다. 연구소는 수출기업을 늘리기 위해 잠재수출기업 지원 등 여러 지원사업을 전략적으로 운영할 필요가 있다고 조언했다.<br /> <br /> 특히 패키지 SW기업은 해외법인 설립이 늘고 있는 반면 이에 대한 지원사업은 부족하다는게 연구소 분석이다. 법인 설립 과정은 현지 법·제도를 비롯해 다양한 정보가 필요한 만큼 이에 대한 기본적 정보 제공과 실무적 지원 확대가 요구된다.<br /> <br /> <span id='newsroom_etview_promotion'></span>김형철 소프트웨어정책연구소장은 “SW기업 규모와 성격에 따라 해외진출 애로 사항이 다르기 때문에 이에 맞춘 정책 지원이 중요하다”면서 “국가별 시장과 규제 등 정보를 체계적으로 분석해 국내 SW산업계 전반에 공유하고 활용하는 체제를 강화하는 것도 필요하다”고 강조했다. </p>
