Next year, a new batch of films will hit theaters and hopefully they’ll erase some of the damage that’s been done. We’ve put together a list of the most anticipated movies of 2010 and some of them have literally been decades in the making. It’s an adaptation of the popular animated series,<strong><em> Avatar: The Last Airbender </em></strong>and will feature a novice actor named <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20100102005933/http://screencrave.com/tag/noah-ringer">Noah Ringer</a> as the hero, Aang. The majority of the characters in the film are supposed to be of Asian decent, but all the actors don’t fit that bill. Everyone wants to see if the people M. Kick-Ass</strong></h2> <p>We’ve been following <em>Kick-Ass</em> since its controversial inception via director Matthew Vaughn. In the beginning nobody wanted to make this movie, and I mean NOBODY. It’s an R rated action flick that’s marketed like <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20100102005933/http://screencrave.com/tag/wanted"><strong><em>Wanted</em></strong></a> but for kids. After some clips from the movie debuted at this year’s <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20100102005933/http://screencrave.com/tag/comic-con">Comic-Con</a>, the cast received a standing ovation and a couple of week’s later it landed a distribution deal. The film features a 12 year old assassin, a trigger happy ex cop, and a pair of vigilante teenagers. The film will have the Oscar winner going head to head with Cate Blanchett as Maid Marian, and <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20100102005933/http://screencrave.com/tag/kevin-durand">Kevin Durand</a> as Little John. This take on the story is a lot darker than anything we’ve seen before, and looks more like an unofficial sequel to <em>Gladiator</em>.
