One thing does save the movie, though: the cast is all in good spirits, and McGinley, Goldwin, and Gunn in particular seem to be having a lot of fun. Of course, I also have to mention Michael Rooker, though he's barely in the film (is his fee really that high?!). 🏢 Plus, it wraps up after an hour and a half, and thanks to the well-crafted kills, it never gets boring.
